Barbara Zientek Perez

Barbara Zientek Perez advises and assists government and corporate clients on a wide range of procurement issues, focusing on community and economic development, education, public safety, homeland security and community partnership building. Barbara has extensive expertise in federal and state funding policies and practices. She is responsible for assisting clients in navigating federal and state funding opportunities to secure the resources required to bring projects to fruition. She provides strategic guidance and is known for her ability to link client solutions with federal and state agency goals, leading to successful projects.

She is known for creative problem solving of behalf of clients. Her broad breath of knowledge of federal and state programs assures comprehensive analysis of available resources and in-depth strategic guidance enabling clients to develop and implement successful projects. Her areas of expertise have focused on major urban initiatives ranging from mixed-use waterfront development, community policing and interoperable communications to after school programs for at-risk youth. Barbara routinely works with the U.S. Departments of Justice, Homeland Security, Housing and Urban Development, and Education as well as numerous state agencies.

Prior to joining Krivit & Krivit, Barbara worked for the U.S. Congress. She received a bachelor’s degree from Georgetown University.
